Meet Chris Elshaw

 

Chris Elshaw is an accomplished advisor and board director with decades of global business experience.

Throughout his prolific career, Chris has worked his way up—learning the ins and outs of business through varied lenses and roles. 

Currently, Chris is Chairman of MAV Beauty Products Inc., a member of the Audit and Compensation, Nominating & Governance Committees; and Chairman of Paula’s Choice Skincare. He was also a Board Director and member of the Audit and Compensation committees of Amplify Snack Brands Inc. In addition, he is a Board Director at a number of other private equity backed companies and nonprofit organizations. Plus, he is a certified Professional Director at the American College of Corporate Directors (ACCD).

As Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Revlon from 2009 to 2014, Chris was responsible for the global business, gaining invaluable experience across all functions and markets around the world. He also led the successful integration of two acquisitions, plus the due diligence and completion of a third acquisition.

Throughout his time at Revlon he spearheaded and oversaw business and process improvements that resulted in strong financial gains. Prior to this role, Chris was Executive Vice President & General manager of Revlon’s United States business from 2007 to 2009 where he improved execution as well as enhancing and integrating the marketing mix.

Before moving to the United States, Chris was the Senior Vice President & Managing Director for Europe, Middle East & Canada from 2003 to 2007, leading the development and successful implementation of a 3-year business transformation strategy to bring Revlon Europe from years of losses to a healthy profit. His career at Revlon started in 2002 as General Manager where he initially was responsible for the UK & Ireland business but shortly assumed responsibility for the European distributor markets.

Prior to joining Revlon, Chris held a number of general management positions of increasing scope with Clairol, before which he held marketing and sales positions with Alberto Culver.
